We’ve launched a short public reporting form to document safety incidents experienced by people walking, rolling, cycling, or using micromobility in the Halifax Regional Municipality.

We’re collecting reports of:
• near misses
• drivers failing to yield
• blocked sidewalks or bike lanes
• unsafe crossings or intersections
• aggressive or speeding vehicles
• accessibility barriers
• crashes and close calls

Most dangerous incidents are never officially recorded. These self-reported experiences help identify patterns, highlight high-risk locations, and support advocacy for safer streets.

The form takes about 2 minutes to complete, and anonymous submissions are welcome. Click on this link and remember to bookmark it for quick reference. We'll be collecting this information until further notice.
