Vision Zero Kjipuktuk-Halifax is a coalition of residents, families, health professionals, advocates, and community leaders united by a clear vision: no loss of life is acceptable on our roads. We know that traffic deaths and serious injuries are preventable, not inevitable, and that our streets can be designed or adapted to protect everyone, no matter their age, ability, or mode of travel. 

Our goal

We are calling on municipal and provincial leaders to act with urgency, transparency, and accountability to eliminate traffic fatalities and serious injuries in the Halifax Regional Municipality, by adopting Vision Zero as a goal and developing a clear plan of action with a budget to get us there. Every life matters. Every death is preventable
