# Read our preliminary feedback on the 2026 Road Safety Annual Report

We shared [initial thoughts on HRM's 2026 Road Safety Annual Report](https://visionzerohfx.ghost.io/twenty-fatal-collisions-on-our-streets-in-2025-is-not-favourable-progress/). We have also shared more concerns around this report with members of the Transportation Standing Committee and local media, asking for action by Council to implement a true Vision Zero approach to road safety. You can read this below.

If you want more action on road safety after another year of extremely high levels of serious and fatal crashes, please write to your Councillor and MLA. Let them know how you are impacted by unsafe streets and ask for action to be urgently taken. You can forward our report, referencing our key asks for a Vision Zero action plan and adopting a Goal of Zero fatalities by 2035\.
